Congratulations to Graduating Fellows and Residents!

2013 Graduating Chief ResidentsAt the end of June, we say goodbye to our graduating fellows and residents. We are honored these doctors chose us as their training destination, and we’re grateful for the contributions they made to our department and to our patients. Here’s where they’re headed for the next phase of their careers:

Martina Badell, MD, maternal fetal medicine fellow, will join our faculty as an assistant professor in the maternal fetal medicine division.

Anna Buchsbaum, MD, family planning fellow, will enter private practice in California.

Melissa Counihan, MD, graduating resident, will join Peachtree Women’s Specialists in Atlanta, GA.

Lisa Fusco, MD, pelvic surgery fellow, will enter private practice in New Haven, Connecticut.  

Leda Gattoc, MD, pelvic surgery fellow, will pursue a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Wright State University.

Michelle Glasgow, MD, will pursue a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Minnesota.  

Heather Hipp, MD, graduating resident, will pursue a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at Emory University.

Catherine Hudson, MD, graduating resident, will pursue the Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship, Emory University. 

Alisa Kachikis, MD, graduating resident, will join the Global Health Service Corps in Blantyre, Malawi.

Catherine Kress, MD, graduating resident, is headed for Kigali, Rwanda as part of the Human Resources for Health program associated with Yale University. She is also pursuing the Paul Farmer Global Surgery Fellowship at Harvard School of Medicine / Boston Children's Hospital.

Angela Martin, MD, graduating resident, will pursue a fellowship in maternal fetal medicine at Emory University. 

Erica Robinson, MD, graduating resident, will pursue a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Vanderbilt University.

Abed Sinno, MD, graduating resident, will pursue a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Johns Hopkins University.

Monica Willis, MD, fellow in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, will join Reproductive Biology Associates in Atlanta.

With this class of residents, our department graduates its 539th resident. We look forward to welcoming new fellows and residents in July.
